Visit Australia.
The Right Way.
Australia's visitor visa has one of the highest refusal rates of any visa class. The difference between approval and refusal often comes down to how your application is prepared. We get it right — first time.
The Most Common Reasons for Refusal
Understanding why visitor visas get refused is the first step to making sure yours doesn't. We address all of these proactively in every application.
Insufficient Financial Evidence
The Department wants to see that you can genuinely fund your visit — bank statements, employment evidence, and proof of assets must be compelling and current.
Weak Ties to Home Country
If the Department believes you may stay in Australia, they will refuse. Strong ties — employment, property, family, business — must be clearly evidenced.
Incomplete Documentation
Missing documents, unclear explanations, or poorly organised submissions are common refusal triggers. We ensure every requirement is met before lodgement.
Previous Refusals Not Addressed
A previous refusal on your record — for any visa — must be disclosed and addressed. Ignoring it or hoping it won't be noticed is a common mistake we help clients avoid.
Unclear Purpose of Visit
Your reason for visiting must be genuine and clearly documented. Vague statements or inconsistencies between your application and supporting evidence raise flags.
Migration Risk Assessment
The Department assesses your country of origin, travel history, and profile against their internal risk framework. We structure your application to address these factors strategically.
Visitor Visa Streams Explained
Subclass 600 has four streams. Choosing the right stream and preparing the right evidence for that stream is critical for approval.
Tourist Stream
For individuals wanting to visit Australia for tourism, recreation, or to see family. Usually valid for up to 12 months, with stays of up to 3, 6, or 12 months per visit depending on approval.
Business Visitor Stream
For people visiting for business activities — meetings, conferences, trade fairs. No work is permitted. The business purpose must be documented with invitation letters and company evidence.
Family Stream
For individuals who have a close family member (Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen) in Australia. Designed for longer stays than the tourist stream.
Sponsored Family Stream
An Australian family member sponsors the visit. Can be granted for up to 5 years. The sponsor signs an Assurance of Support — we guide sponsors through this process.
